Stephanie McKay
I had been looking for a house, for over two years on my own. Stephanie sold my childhood home a couple of years ago. When I got serious about the purchase of my own home, I contacted Stephanie and actually had a walk-through and put in an offer two days later. That property fell through… on the seller side. She immediately said well, that just means there is something better for you out there! We actively viewed properties until we ran across this little house outside the city. I loved everything about the property. The proximity to the river and parks, the ease of freeway access, and how close it was to Wyandotte. The one thing I wasn’t enthused about, was the condition of the house. A rehab had been started and left in the middle. After weeding through hundreds of details. Literally, hundreds. From the city, to contractors , to the title company and with the seller. Without Stephanie’s due diligence, determination and her ability to wear ‘many hats’, the deal never would’ve happened. I was overwhelmed, several times, and it was Stephanie who not only reminded me, that some of the challenges, are natural feelings when making a large purchase. Especially, with a house that is currently, unlivable. But she stayed up late and got up early, to research my concerns and find me answers. This specific sale was an emotional roller coaster, for all parties involved. At one point, the deal had been dissolved. Both parties walked away. It’s been a month and I am the proud owner of a work-to be-in progress, in a historical district, and in the best neighborhood. I couldn’t feel more blessed-a lil crazy-but blessed. I couldn’t have done this without her!! My agent is an angel.
