Absentee Owner Sale of Land in Florida
As an absentee land owner, a friend in Florida recommended Stephanie Honore, as an agent to sell my land there (my friend researched and chose for me, the best agent, from the online history of her land sales, and how quickly they happened).
There are not enough words to describe the experience I had with Stephanie, dealing with an Agent I never met face to face and only via texting and emails.
From her response, right at the start, after I sent the first text, introducing myself and stating my intention of selling my land in Florida, I was immediately put at ease, and came to realize that this person operates in a transparent and ethical manner and understands the sensitive nature of what a transaction of this sort must mean to a person in my position (an absentee owner, now seller and having not met her face to face).
She immediately gave me the details of the property -as far as public records showed- and verified the information after she formally followed-up with the municipality. She right away informed on list price according to the area for the details of the land, and estimated seller's expenses.
Throughout the whole experience, which was a duration of a little less than 2 months from first contact, to closing, Stephanie, continued to be the same. Never leaving me in the dark, passing on all details, explaining next steps and quickly responding to any questions I may have. When the time came for me to interact with the Title Company, whenever I had a question, she would liaison with them and provide me with answers. Even her Electronic Signature Program, was the most user friendly one I ever used, and it was obvious this was chosen for the benefit of the client who may be a novice with such a program.
In my experience, people of this nature, who conduct themselves and their business with such Transparency, Professionalism and Consideration are indeed rare. It was a pleasure dealing with Stephanie!
