Selling a large house after many many years, we learned, is much more than a financial transaction. In addition to the technicalities of listing the property, creating demand and executing the sale, the process involves all kinds of logistics, planning and emotion management. Stephanie got deeply involved in helping us with all of these aspects of selling and moving, many of which I would not generally classify as "part of the job" but almost all of which we might never have completed without her help. Not only did Stephanie succeed in generating multiple offers and a sale well in excess of our asking price, her largest value was in helping us get to that finish line with inspections, staging, moving furniture out, finding storage, finding a rental etc. We were not the easiest clients to work with yet Stephanie maintained her professionalism and good spirits throughout the entire process and kept us on track without being overly intrusive or overbearing. She had to innovate because of the Covid situation and did so creatively. Furthermore, she won my respect by being willing and able to tell us what we needed to hear but might not have wanted to hear.
