The opposite happened, and we completely fell head over heels with a house that had a significant head start on getting  sold. Soogee was able to negotiate a fair price for the house, but maybe more importantly, she succeeded in getting us a contingency that gave us time we needed to sell our house without our dream house getting sold to someone else first.
