Pricing of the house was spot on. The video of the property and the photography were top notch. Somer's communication was very responsive throughout the process. Somer is the absolute best realtor in Houston. We bought our home with her 5 years ago after meeting her at an open house that we stopped by on a whim. She was professional and everything went smooth with that purchase so she was our first call when it came time for us to sell. She was flexible and worked with us to set a meeting time for the initial meeting. We had to reschedule several times due to my work schedule and she was able to accommodate each time. She arrived at our home well researched and with a strong knowledge of the market in our area, greater Houston, and the market at this time of year / in this economy (September - October time frame). We took her advice on pricing (which was more than we initially thought we could get for the home), and listed our house on 9/12, by 9/26 we had over 15 showings and two full-price offers on the table. The marketing campaign that she launched when our listing went live was very effective. Once under contract, we had a few issues come up on the home inspection. Somer was able to reach out into her network to suggest contractors who were able to repair the issues quickly and professionally. This was a huge help for us and kept the stress levels low. She explained each step of the sale process clearly and ensured that we always knew what to expect. Closing went smoothly, and throughout this process, she was constantly available to my wife and I, including weekends and evenings. Somer Padilla came recommended to me by several friends/coworkers, and I really can't say enough good things about her. She was a fantastic person to work with, even though I was a first-timer navigating my way through the process (and likely might have worn the patience of some realtors). There were several surprises and last-minute things that came up which would normally have made me pretty nervous, but knowing she was in my corner made the whole experience as smooth as one can expect purchasing a home. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to navigate the purchase of my home, and the best part about it was that if something fell through and things didn't work out, I was comfortable knowing she did everything that could have been done. Somer helped us find our first home and all I have to say is that our experience was absolutely fabulous! Somer is extremely busy but there was not a single question, concern, text or call that wasn’t addressed momentarily! I have no idea how Somer can handle such a stressful job but she does it and she does it great! I came to her office and right away told her that I will be a very difficult client to work with and that it will take us at least a year to find a home that I would like. Im not exaggerating but Somer helped us find a house that we all fell in love with in less than a week!!!
