During a 5-day visit by my wife and I to the Albuquerque area in March 2024, we had pre-arranged a cup of coffee with Skip Adams to see if the person we saw on his YouTube videos was the same guy in person. He was. We were looking for a realtor with experience, knowledge of the local market, and above all integrity; the latter quality being especially important as we would be doing everything from a distance (California) if we decided to look for area home possibilities. We had to trust him implicitly. Skip was able to quickly arrange a few showings for us in the Jubilee 55+ community in Los Lunas that we were interested in through his associate David Binder. Long story short: we eventually made an offer on a home there we didn't actually see in person. Skip did a FaceTime walk-through for us and confirmed our sense of this home. We made an offer and accepted the seller's counter-offer. We now are the proud owners of this beautiful home. Lots of moving parts in-between, of course, including Skip providing us with contacts to line up financing (in case that was needed), a home inspection service, an insurance broker to get the home covered prior to our arrival, even a personal concierge (Robbey) to help us take care of so many of the other details that need to be in place before moving in (e.g., getting accounts set up with gas and electrical utilities, arranging for pest control services, etc.). Prior to closing, at our request, David did a final live FaceTime walk-through for us to make sure everything was in good order. From our initial offer to closing was about a month's time. Wow. Skip and his team really stepped up for us, leaving nothing to chance. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly responded to.
