Each time we viewed a new property, Ms. Hamilton would perform a methodical walkthrough, looking for signs of problems and commenting on the quality of construction, finish, appliances, etc. If the current owner was present, Ms. Hamilton asked insightful questions about the home maintenance, service dates on the roofs, if there was any structural damage, and if yes, when were the repairs made, and if still under warranty.
