Born overseas, my family embarked on a courageous journey to the United States when I was almost 6 years old. Adjusting to a new world, learning a new language, and facing the challenges of being a refugee molded my early years. Despite the negativity and bullying, I excelled in school and pursued a master's degree in psychology and conflict resolution, setting the stage for a unique path ahead.
Having traveled all over the world, and lived in five different countries including Switzerland and New Zealand, my global perspective enriches the real estate experience I offer. I understand the diverse needs of clients and cultures from the North Georgia Mountains to the Georgia Coast and the greater Florida area.
Prior to real estate I served for 13 years as a law enforcement officer where I was an instructor, field training officer, certified Mediator and Hostage Negotiator with the Police Department. Transitioning from the force, my commitment to fighting for the community found a new avenue—real estate. As the Head of Real Estate, I am an aggressive advocate for clients across every aspect of the real estate transaction, from first-time home buyers to luxury homes, and residential to commercial properties.
My journey has been marked by challenges, including overcoming breast cancer, and the loss of many family members. Yet, I remain a caretaker for loved ones, friends, and even strangers, with a servant's heart. Years of volunteer work with organizations like the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, various schools, nursing homes, and hospices reflect my commitment to leaving the world a better place.
