My wife and I devoted the entire winter (5+ months) in Florida to finding a Florida home. We stayed in our motorhome in a park near The Villages. We originally worked with a different agent we had contacted while still in Michigan. This led to me centering my interests on several 55+ communities south of Leesburg, but I needed an agent to get access. By a stroke of luck I found Sheryl Mowry-Miller online, and my wife and I hit it off with Sheryl right from the start. What a difference in effort from our first agent. Sheryl took the time to learn what we wanted and started finding homes to look at. She also sent us to look at some manufactured home communities based on things we told her we might be interested in. This would not end in a commission for her, and this told me she was truly trying to do what was right for us, not just trying to make a quick sale. It also gave us a better understanding of the range of options available in this very tough market.
