Shelly is a great home-buyer advocate! She helped with the purchase of my current home and former home and made it easy and painless. Never too pushy, she was a great negotiator for me and informed me on all of my decisions and rights as the buyer. I especially appreciated that she has been in the business a long time and subsequently has her pockets full of professionals that she can tap into at any time. If you need an opinion from a roofer? She knows someone. A contractor? She’s got a guy. Ready for an inspection? She’s has one, PLUS a backup if he’s too swamped. It was helpful to know that time wouldn’t be wasted, because she already had all of these relationships established that she could lean on at any given moment. In addition to this, there was a time when I was considering homes all along the Puget Sound coastline from Tacoma to Seattle, and just couldn’t make up my mind where I wanted to settle. She was always so gracious enough to meet me in different parts of the area to help me find out if I had found the right home for me. I appreciate that level of dedication, as I know that much running around and indecisiveness could frustrate the most patient of people. Overall, I had a great experience both times with her!
Well where do I start!! She was a GOD SEND!! I was at a total loss as to what to do since my house was trashed by my nephew whom happened to be renting from me for approx. 3 yrs and was suppose to be fixing up the house so that in time he could buy it. Well that didn't happened!! He abruptly notified me that he was moving when I was wondering were the rent was. Anyway, my dad told be about Shelly and I contacted her, I should mention I was living in Arizona for the last 3 yrs. and was staying in a Motel 6 at the time of our meeting. Anyway Shelly and I got together and she was finally able to look at the house and pretty much told me it was unsellable in the condition it was in and the amt. I still owed on the house. All this time my nephew whom is a home construction worker was telling me that he was going to fix everything. Well that didn't happened all he did was rip my house off and then leave it exposed to the elements fortunately Shelly knew a roofer and he went out and tarped my roof before I even hired him and anyway he ended up finishing my roof and then I ended up hiring my brother since I didn't know any other contracters and well I had to get back to Arizona to arrange for money to pay for all the repairs that were necessary. Now Shelly became my eyes and ears on the work being done to my house going WAY BEYOND what a real estate agent is normally going to do!! She kept an eye on every aspect of the remodel making sure that things were getting done before I paid for them. since I didn't trust my brother. She dealt with all the crap that I should have been taking care and did it with no complains. After all the work was done she staged the house and showed it and sold it in more than a timely manner. I was so EXTREMELY PLEASED for everything she did for me that I can't even put them in proper words. If anyone wants an agent that goes above and beyond what any normal agent would even come close to doing, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!
