We gave Shelley an almost impossible task of finding a multi-family home under a certain price that met VA loan inspection criteria in a specific area of Massachusetts with almost no down payment by a specific date. Shelly did not disappoint! While looking at houses, Shelly researched the properties prior to scheduling a time to tour. Her understanding of landlord-tenant law may have also saved us from many headaches down the road with one of the properties we were considering for purchase. In addition to our very stringent home purchase requirements, we received an accepted offer with an inflexible seller and a seller’s agent who did not have experience with residential real estate. Shelley went above and beyond to fill in the gaps to make the transaction as smooth as possible for our closing, to include mentoring the seller’s agent through the process. While the situation was stressful during the final walk through and closing due to the seller and the seller’s agent’s lack of preparations, Shelly remained level headed and professional. She leaned into her resources to make sure we were able to have what we needed to get the home we had been searching. Her leadership is exactly what we needed to successfully close on this house. In a time where there is consideration for buyers to have to pay for their own agent, I can not imagine closing on our most recent property without the guidance, advisory, and leadership of Shelly.
