About Shelley Rae

Shelley is a native to the Bay Area having been raised in Piedmont, graduating from UC Berkeley, and doing graduate work at Saint Mary’s College in education. She has resided in Moraga since 1978 and raised her two children, Allison and Michael, attending Moraga and Orinda Schools. Now her two grandchildren are following suit and attending award-winning Moraga Schools. A single mother of a special needs adult, Shelley has a deep understanding and compassion of the needs of families with special needs children and transitioning families. Highly Recommended!

Potentially Painful Experience Turned Out Great

Shelley and her partner Kaaren made selling my family home as painless as possible. After the death of my mother, I was tasked with selling the family home. It was not in great condition with lots of deferred maintenance. Shelley and Kaaren reviewed the market and we decided to sell it "as is". Through various connections they were able to find an off-market buyer that gave us a fair price, no conditions, and didn't even require us to remove all the contents. They also found a great rental for our displaced tenant. I was impressed with their knowledge of the Moraga market and would recommend them to friends or family.
