She knows the market, and cleverly pre-staged our listing so that when we listed our townhouse, we got an offer on the first day several thousand dollars ABOVE our asking price. In our situation, we had to sell my parents’ townhouse in Texas after my dad passed away. I live in Michigan, so I could only remove the personal items from the townhouse, and bring a limited amount of items back to Michigan. I could not stay in Texas to do an estate sale, and had to leave most of the contents of the townhouse intact. Although, I interviewed several estate liquidation companies, I did not find one that was a "good fit”. Shelley told me not to worry; she would take care of everything — and she did, flawlessly!. She worked with Texans Can! Academy to remove and donate most of the contents of the townhouse. She herself cleaned up the garden, pruned the rose bushes, sorted through the items that charities would not want and bagged them for trash pick-up. Because she has extensive knowledge and contacts within the community, she even found people to donate to who would appreciate some of my parents’ special items, like unique musical instruments, maps, record albums, etc.. She handled my parents’ possessions with care, respect and personal attention. From pre-sale planning to execution, Shelley made the staging, listing, sale and clean-out of our parents’ townhouse flawless and seamless. I have absolute confidence and trust in Shelley.
