I don't know maybe I caught him on a bad day but I was polite but firm about willing to rent but not willing to leave a deposit. I told him I respected his decision but I simply don't let people hold my cash as a matter of principle. I told him I'd put it in an Escrow. He said he would put it in his escrow account. I told him that wouldn't work for me but I respected his decision and he hung up on me while saying something I couldn't make out. I called back pretending I thought the call dropped because I heard him say something sarcastic and hang up on me but I wanted to be sure before writing him off as a potential agent if I decide to buy again here in town. He then said, "All I said was you made the decision easier for me" in a sarcastic tone and made up an excuse saying he thought I hung up on him. I found that not only disrespectful but very interesting he wasn't man enough to admit he hung up on me. I was polite the entire time. You are probably ok if he is your agent judging by his reviews. Like I said maybe I caught him on a bad day.
