Shawn Edgar is the best!

We had been trying to sell a home for over a year to no avail. We tried to sell it by ourselves, and then we engaged the services of a company that would list it for us in Multiple Listing Services. Both of those were fruitless. Granted, the market is horrible right now for sellers and buyers alike but we had no luck at all generating interest. We engaged the services of Shawn Edgar and boy, did she make things happen! Her marketing skills are fantastic. Of course, she first did what all agents do- put up a sign in front of the house and list it with MLS. But she didn't stop there, like most agents do. She held open houses, advertised it on every possible social media and real estate platform available, sent out mailers to everyone on her very substantial mailing list, etc. I am sure there were other things she did behind the scenes to get our property in front of every set of eyeballs she possibly could. Lo and behold, a buyer was found and we closed on the sale last month. In this market, which has not been this bad since 1996, her ability to find us a buyer required Herculean efforts and she was more than up to the task. Also, from the time we signed up with her, she was in constant contact with us letting us know what she was doing, when open houses were planned, what kind of feedback she was getting from other agents, etc. The communication was fantastic and very thorough. After the buyer was found she walked us through each step from inspections to closing. We are very thankful that Shawn was able to accomplish something in a couple of months that we had to even be able to come close to accomplishing in over a year. The next house we buy or sell you can be rest assured that Shawn Edgar will be our first and only choice to represent us!
