As a seasoned professional Realtor of 20+ years, there isn't much I haven't seen, done or experienced in the real estate world. Why does this matter? Because life sends us curve balls and your agent needs to know how to effectively deal with situations, negotiations and strategies. They should possess interpersonal management skills specific to real estate sales and acquisition, based on actual experience. Many people don't know that passing the real estate exam actually has nothing to do with the real job requirements of designing marketing, understanding and writing contracts, legal and ethical issues or the nuances of promoting properties and helping buyers choose just the right one. Understanding finances, loans, appraisals, underwriting and more is something we learn later. In fact, most of what we seasoned professionals know, we learned on the job. There is no better teacher than in the trenches experience. I've been a full time professional all these years. I don't have a second job, personal commitments or other distractions. My kids are all grown though my horses, chickens, dogs, cats and huge food garden keep me busy in my free time. I take my responsibility to focus on my client’s needs, their protection and bringing value to the relationship, very seriously. Integrity, honesty and transparency always play major roles in every transaction and relationship. I've had the honor and privilege of working with people from all walks of life. From first time home buyers, barely scraping up enough money for the moving van, to accomplished individuals including celebrities and financial sector elites, my practice has grown and blossomed with this myriad of real-life experience, representing sellers and buyers in residential, ranch and land, listings and sales. There is no substitution for experience. Your purchase or sale is likely the most important financial move you will make. Don't trust it to just anyone. Choose experience. Because experience matters.
