"Initially, it was somewhat random picking Hill Country as we had considered the Blanco area for relocation. However, there were no properties in Blanco on the market at that time for our consideration, but Mrs. Milliard willingly looked farther afield for us, referring us to a realtor in the Lampasas area where we eventually found a property which fit our criteria. We had built up a very good rapport with Shannon looking at other properties, so when it came time to make an offer on this particular property, we asked her to be our buyer's realtor as the listing broker was the one who had shown us the home and property. Always pleasant, always patient, Shannon had to navigate some deep waters for us as the sellers encountered some turbulence between the offer and the sale, but she did it elegantly, and we look back at our experience with her with gratitude. Post sale of the house, we had some issues with the home warranty company honoring the contract when the refrigerator was found to be broken when we took possession of the house- a real difficulty during a TX summer.
