My colleague referred me to Shanna. My first agent was also a referral, but NOTHING like Shanna, which is why I switched. "Nothing like Shanna" means he had no insights about the CO market and was generally a nod-and-give-generic-answers kind of guy. I could tell Shanna was of a different caliber than the first agent and more of what I was looking for. She had so much valuable advice about where to look, when to look, what the market is like, and what I can expect in terms of other buyers and competition. We searched pretty aggressively and she was super accessible and always available. Sometimes I felt almost bad because I wanted her to have some time off too! Every time we encountered a roadblock, Shanna had answers. I love that about her! Even if it was a "let's wait and see," recommendation, it had a lot of strategies built into it. She wasn't just blindly saying let's do something without at least three options for me to take. I backed out of the first townhouse and never felt like Shanna was being pushy or influencing me to do something I didn't want. She was 100% behind my decisions and offered insightful advice when I asked her what she thought. With this townhouse, Shanna pulled all the stops and strategies and solid negotiation tactics. She's the queen of options and negotiating. She carefully takes the time to explain things I don't understand. She is so organized and seems to think about everything—down to scheduling the carpet cleaners before I moved in (which she gifted to me—seriously I should be giving HER a gift!). We started our search in early Jan., and we closed Feb. 14 and I couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's gift. I am already recommending her to friends and family. Beyond all of her amazing real estate agent skills, what I liked most is that she cares. I know my new place isn't some ritzy multi-million dollar home, but to me, it was important that I find something I loved. Shanna was behind that (and me) all the way. :)
