After graduating from high school in Lawrence, Kansas, I went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree at Emporia State University. I lived in Tonganoxie, Kansas, a small rural community about 20 west of Kansas City, for 20 years prior to moving to the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. I lived in the KC Metro area for 12 years before moving to Florida. Prior to transitioning to a career in real estate, I spent 17 years working to help people with disabilities to lead independent lives. Whether that meant helping them find appropriate housing, affordable health care or fulfilling employment, I stood by my clients, working together to help them realize their unique goals.
My interests include a love of nature and outdoor activities. I spend much of my free time running, walking, and bicycling. I also enjoy wine tastings and discovering new restaurants.
Advocacy is my passion! I was born with a servant’s heart and a love for helping others. Volunteering plays a pivotal role in my life. I am involved in church activities, and consistently support several charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Girls on the Run and Ronald McDonald House Charities where I’m involved as a Gold Key Agent.
