About Seth

Meet Seth Skelly! Seth was born and raised in the Southern Tier and fell in love with the Finger Lakes region during his first job as a Lifeguard on Keuka Lake during high school. After high school, Seth enlisted into the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. Upon his return home, Seth continued his Law Enforcement Career as a Federal Police Officer and later a Deputy Sheriff. Seth became a Real Estate Investor back in 2018 when he started his quickly growing Real Estate Company, Skelly Properties. His first investment property was a small single-family home in the Village of Dundee. After acquiring a passion in building a company, Seth purchased 7 more investment properties to include several long-term rental property duplexes and short-term rental vacation properties. To maintain his business, Seth built a second company STR Property Management. This has helped Seth shift his focus towards his passion and energy to become a realtor. Seth worked with Austin Lapp as his realtor for several years while growing his real estate portfolio, and as a result, Austin saw the potential in Seth and recruited him to join the Wine Trail Properties team. Seth brings a handful of valuable skills to the table for his clients such as sharp negotiating skills, a keen eye for the right property, and life-long knowledge of the Finger Lakes. Seth’s experience as a seasoned investor grew his ability to negotiate deals under pressure and make him a great advocate to have in your corner! On his days off, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife Terry and their daughter Charli. In the warmer months they enjoy the family lake house on Seneca Lake doing all the lake things….boating, swimming and watching their Golden Retriever and Chocolate Lab jump off the dock. Other hobbies Seth dabbles in are golfing at Lakeside Country Club and Scuba Diving the Finger Lakes.
