Scott went above and beyond my expectations as a first time homebuyer! In an extremely competitive market where most houses would be listed less than 24 hours before being sold/pending, Scott was readily available to meet all over the greater Tampa/St Pete area even on extremely short notice. His extensive knowledge of the process and advice made the everything extremely easy with less stress than imagined. I would 100% refer anybody in the area to Scott knowing that he would treat them like family and put the work in to find anybody the perfect home.

Despite buying at the peak of the market, Scott worked miracles for us. When most homes were selling for tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands above asking price, Scott worked to secure us our forever home with our must haves, getting it below asking price AND with the seller paying closing costs! He was attentive prompt, and he worked like mad to help us close early! In addition to his knowledge and skill as a real estate agent, Scott was amazing with our special needs child. Seeing homes with children is hard, and with a special needs child, our stress level was through the roof. Scott was not only patient with our child but he made our child feel loved and valued which was a blessing beyond description. Working with Scott was a game changer. I cannot recommend him and his team enough! He made our dream of home ownership a reality, saved us money and kept us sane in the stressful process. The only reason we don’t plant to hire Scott again is because he found us our forever home. But if things change, Scott is the only agent we will Consider.
We knew the circumstances of selling our home might have some difficulties but Scott’s insight and expertise made the process easier to navigate. I have worked with many realtors over the past 25 years and working with Scott has been the best overall experience. He was thorough with his research and determination of the asking price which is challenging especially with the interest rates in the 7% range; when we received offers below the asking price he was excellent at keeping true to the original objectives which meant that we did forgo the 1st offer and negotiated on the next offer to an acceptable number. The overall process went well from start to finish (understanding what improvements needed to be done if we wanted to ask a certain price (or the price if selling “as is”), having professional pictures taken, Scott also kept us apprised of updates along the way and the closing process was smooth). To get the property ready for sale, I needed to make some improvements and bring some remaining furniture to goodwill; however, goodwill nor any other donation organization could pickup in time; when I spoke to Scott about referring a handy man he said that he knew a good one, but with what needed to be done he volunteered to bring his truck and we could take care of it; I took him up on the offer. I am not trying to say that Scott moonlights as a furniture moving company, I am just giving one of the many examples where Scott went above and beyond my expectations of a realtor; to me, he set a new “bar” for future realtors (which only matters if I have dealings outside of Scott’s geography).
We came to Florida from several states away over a long weekend just to scout out some houses we had bookmarked on Zillow (fully intending to just do our own thing without a realtor). We ran into Scott while looking at one of his listings, and within minutes knew we could trust him, and wanted to work with him. He dropped everything - over a holiday weekend - to get us tours at all of our top picks in the short time we were in town. Except for the house we ran into him at, none of the houses we looked at were even his listings. He even got us tours in houses well outside of his normal area just to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for, and had every option we desired. Being from out of town and pressed on time, we immensely appreciated how quick of a communicator he was, his go-getter attitude, and his willingness to share local knowledge of the area. Scott was never out just to make a sale - he truly made us feel like he wanted the best for us. Once we did find a house we wanted to make an offer on, he worked overtime pulling late hours for us to ensure we got the paperwork in virtually for the offer. We couldn't make it back to Florida for the final walkthrough, and once again Scott came through for us, making sure the house was in order and good to go for our eventual move-in. Whether you are a local looking for a new home, or moving here from out of state, you can trust Scott's recommendations, and will not find a harder worker.
