Even though I'm older, this was my first experience purchasing a home for myself. I was very wary of the process but a friend introduced me to Sarah and it turns out all that worry was for nothing. Sarah first was very knowledgeable about the areas of Las Vegas I was interested in, particularly the Lakes & South Summerlin. I didn't want a restrictive HOA or a gated community. I met with Sarah over lunch and with in 10 minutes she knew what I was looking for and was able to set up 3 viewings within 24 hours. The 1st house we looked at had a grass backyard when I asked if I'd need to get a landscaper she said - lets go to the next house it has a beautiful desert landscape and it's 2 blocks from shops and restaurants. Being from NYC this was a HUGE plus. The house was perfect. I wanted to make a full price offer. Sarah said no it is better if we start low and i'll negotiate for you. She ended up saving me almost 20K which I instantly used to by new desert friendly furniture inside and out. BUT that wasn't the end of it. I had already gotten pre-approved for a loan but she said let me see what my lender can do. Saved me a point which is another 10k off my bill. I'm actually writing this while having coffee on my patio while the early morning balmy breezes of Las Vegas keep me cool. Thank you Sarah Sorrells - What a true gem you are.
