I'm from Los Angeles and my husband and I were lucky enough to find Sarah to help us buy our first home together in Oakland. The first unit we purchased was a TIC in a prime location close to Lake Merritt. TIC's are complicated transactions and Sarah was extremely patient about walking us through the process and staying on top of all of the details. Sarah did an amazing job - above and beyond what you would expect a realtor to do. We had a very short timeline to get our house listed to take advantage of the summer market and were already in contract on another home so had some specific financial goals regarding the sales price. Sarah advised us on how to prep our home for sale, what things to spend money on and where not to bother, organized contractors and inspections for us when we needed them (she knows someone for anything you could possibly need across different budgets, has backups in case of schedule conflicts, and was even able to meet them when we couldn't get away from work). She gave us awesome advice on how to price our home appropriately for the market, we came home to stacks and stacks of realtor cards indicating it had great exposure in terms of showings, our neighbors confirmed how busy the open houses were, and we received multiple offers within our desired sales price range (exactly as she had expected). And she helped us manage the interactions with the buyers agent & escrow company - we never had to deal with anything directly - she really just took care of stuff and told us where to be and what to sign when it mattered. Sarah really knows the Oakland market - helped us as buyers years ago and as sellers this time, we couldn't be happier with the results. And bonus - she's the kind of person you want to have a celebratory glass of wine with when it all works out the way you hoped, too!
