Let me start by saying, “We don’t like to use brokers.” We tried, unsuccessfully, selling our Dunedin home on our own. After a month, we reached out to Sandy once learning she had recently sold our neighbor’s home in one weekend for way more than the listed price. Sandy is one of those rare, beautiful souls who instantly connects with you and genuinely empathized with our struggles to sell our home. She listened to our concerns and had a solution for each of them. I don’t think she always agreed with some of the things we wanted to do (ex: offer no buyer broker compensation fee), but she respected our wishes and fought for us every step of the way. She held the most professional open houses each weekend until our home sold. And she also sold our property for more than we listed it! But what impresses us the most about Sandy, is her ethics. The realty business is cut throat….did I mention we don’t like to deal with brokers! We met some real “pieces of work” throughout this process. Even when other agents weren’t exactly playing by the rules, Sandy consistently took the high road. Sandy was able to talk me off the ledge on several occasions when I became frustrated with a prospective buyer’s broker……not an easy task! We owe the amazing deal we made with our new buyer to her superlative communication skills. Sandy started out as our realtor. But she is now our friend.
