We were selling our house "by owner". One day, both Sam and Laurie rang my door and once they identified themselves as real estate agents I immediately told them to go away. Everybody and their brother are agents these days. I gave them a very limited time to give their sales pitch. Interestingly enough, it wasn't a sales pitch but facts and their delivery was very professional. That alone put them at the top of my list.
