We decided to list our house for sale prior to the Covid-19 pandemic with Sam. The pandemic started hitting the end of March 2020. Our plan was to put the house on the market originally by the end of April or the first week of May. Needless to say, with the pandemic we were extremely concerned and had many questions. Sam has so much knowledge of the market, he was able to guide us through uncharted territory (selling a house in the middle of a pandemic.) There were extra steps needed to make sure everyone was kept safe. The nice thing is that once our house got listed, we didn't even need to have an open house. He arranged for professional photos to be taken, a 3D walk though virtual tour and even drone footage, all professionally marketed through a dedicated website for our house. Sam made sure that only qualified buyers made an appointment to come see our house and Covid-19 waivers were signed. We had one day of appointments and about 15 potential buyers came through on that day. The next day we had our first offer and by the end of a couple of days, we had six offers to choose from! We were able to sell our house well above the asking price and move out on the date we originally had planned to move prior to the pandemic hitting.
