Sallie was awesome in helping us sell our home, which was the same one she helped us purchase in 2000. Throughout the years she advised us on updates to make to maintain the home and the again when it came time to sell. She is always calm, but will tell you what she thinks about the offer during the negotiation process. Since the last sale was a relocation out of the state, Sallie was able to help with when to turn off utilities and communicated what was going on during the final stages of the sale right through closing.
I cannot recommend Sallie enough, especially if you are a first time home buyer like we were!! Sallie helped my husband and I find a house when we relocated to the area last summer. She showed us a large number of homes in the 2 days we were able to be in town. It was our first home purchase and Sallie walked us through each step of the process. She provided us great recommendations for inspectors, lawyers and insurance. She even attended our septic inspection for us when we couldn't drive back down for it. Buying a home and relocating to another state can be a nerve wracking ordeal. Well it is a lot less when you know Sallie. How many times have you paid for a service and took the time to write a review? How many times have you said I paid for the service and was not happy with it. I have heard many times people say 'why pay a realtor a commission? They only do a little and get all that money. Well with Sallie we got a lot. We arrived at the airport and went right to the showing where we met a gracious, genuine and lovely lady who with a professional presence still was able to display a friendly and relaxed demeanor which made us feel very comfortable. All good right? Well this was just the beginning of a long journey. Why so long you ask? Because we wanted the house and make an offer, but had a home of our own to sell first 1500 miles away. Guess what happened next....Sallie took control of the situation and guided us through that journey with our offer and special requests which brought us through touchy situations, phone calls, paperwork, emails and faxes and acts of trust with all parties involved. Due to a company move we moved from FL to CT in 2000. Our children and family remained in FL. So, we were eager to get back to FL and be with our family. Finally we were able to retire and put our house on the market. The day we signed the papers with Sallie as our realtor, she had a showing. We had at least one showing every day. She was in contact with we us every day and kept us informed with feedback from the showings. In 2 weeks we had sold our house and a month later we moved back to FL. Since we moved to FL we were not able to be at the closing. Sallie took time out of her day and attended the closing. We are living in FL with our family and are enjoying life.
