Ryan Shimp

I met Ryan when he was serving as the listing agent for a property that we viewed with another agent. However, during that visit I was struck by how enthusiastic he was about the home he was showing and how he clearly had the seller's best interest at heart (as he should since that was his role). As our search took an extended amount of time (well over six months) I ran into Ryan at several open houses. My initial positive impression of him only continued to increase. A few months later Ryan also worked with me as my agent on a particular property where he was representing both parties. I was wary since this is a tough position to be in with the potential for conflict of interest. I was impressed that during the entire drawn out tough negotiation process he handled both sides with the utmost professionalism even when both the buyer (me!) and the sellers were acting childish (hindsight is 20/20). In fact, Ryan did everything within his power and beyond to make that deal happen. Ultimately, this particular transaction did not go through due to last minute changes from the seller's side but that was truly no fault of Ryan. He is truly an excellent agent who has a strong knowledge of the local real estate market and is willing to go the extra mile to make a deal happen. We did end up buying a property we had seen with a different agent a few times before we met Ryan as it was complicated to try and change agents at that point. However, I would strongly recommend him for your real estate needs and would certainly consider starting with Ryan for any future needs I have with buying or selling a home in the future. Highly recommended!

What won me over was his in-depth knowledge of the local North Ranch real estate market and his understanding of construction/design that was needed to maximize the value of the house. <br/><br/>Ryan went above and beyond the duties of a typical real estate agent - helping to project manage the construction to ready the house for sale. After completing the work to the house Ryan suggested, he brought multiple offers and sold it within the first day of listing the property. Ryan was a professional all the way through the process and very trustworthy. He helped get the construction done on time, on budget and sold the house immediately there-after. Five stars in my book.
