Ryan was patient, strategic and, above all, genuine. He was a calming force in a frenzied market, and it all resulted in closing on a house that was exactly what I wanted and more.

I have written and rewritten this review multiple times in an effort to accurately convey how great Ryan is as an agent turned friend and therapist. I’m only submitting my review in its imperfection now to avoid too much time passing since Ryan helped us to find our dream forever home. My fiancé and I knew we wanted to buy around the end of 2020/beginning of 2021, obviously not predicting a pandemic was around the corner, and started casually looking at homes in 2019 to get an idea of what we each liked, loved, disliked, and abhorred. The idea was that when we got serious, we wouldn’t discover the real estate version of Bridezilla in ourselves or each other. Ryan was along for the entire ride and, I regret to inform you that one of us (ahem – me) did have a real estate Bridezilla in us. Our jobs anchor us to the East Bay, mostly Oakland, so we really hoped to find a gem in Oakland but understood that by the time the pandemic was in full swing the market was CRAZY and begrudgingly felt that we should broaden our search. Ryan was like Mr. Miyagi in calmly advising and educating us on the current market, neighborhoods that would be of interest to us, and ultimately landing us in our home IN OAKLAND that we still can’t believe is real. He’s a straight shooter. He answered all of our questions honestly and when he didn’t have an answer, he was quick to confer with his colleagues and get back to us lightning fast. Ryan is incredibly responsive and dependable. He was always respectful of our time and all of our nuances. Once our offer was accepted and we were in the purgatory of real estate called escrow, Ryan kept us in the loop – effectively keeping Bridezilla calm - and the entire process couldn’t have been smoother. The one hiccup we had was securing home owner’s insurance. The agency we have for all of our other policies gave us an astronomical quote and BOOM! He was extremely honest, upfront, and was able to find us a great home that fit right in our price range! He was extremely communicative and easy to reach to answer any of my questions at all times He is very knowledgeable about the Oakland real estate market. Ryan was so accommodating and always available. I have been looking for a home for almost one year when I was introduced to Ryan.
