We worked with Roy for about four months to get our house prepped, listed, sold and bought a new house in the school district we wanted. Buying a house we want in 2021 was not an easy feat and we had to do it on a budget but Roy somehow made it happen. He had good negotiation skills and the right contacts in the area to get us the right kind of information for bidding and he was super responsive to our (sometimes obsessive) questions/rants so I always felt like our family was on top of his mind even though I know he has tons of other clients. Roy also had a great team of people working with him that range from staging, landscaping, painting, etc. which made it super easy for us to find the right people for any jobs we needed. Selling a house in this market was relatively easy but Roy made is even easier with schedule arrangements and right references. I honestly thought finding the right house in 2021 market was a lost cause. But looking back now, having an agent like Roy working for me made a huge difference. Strongly recommend.
In 2015 my work relocation office connected my wife and I with Roy. We were buying a house from across the country in a market that was very tough on buyers. With Emily's care and professionalism (there's a theme here) we prepped our property to look it's best for listing day. It sold in a few days and exceeded our expectations by a wide margin. WOW! After owning my first home for 15 years, I thought that it was going to be a hard and sentimental process selling it. Not only was Roy (and his team) there for me every step of the way, but once I sold my home for more than I was expecting, it made it much less sentimental. I noticed that my neighbors, who listed at the same time, are still trying to sell their homes. With the abundance of marketing, staging, and attention to detail that Roy provided - my home sold in just a couple of months. There is a reason that Roy has so many great reviews - he is simply the best!
I can't recommend Roy and his team enough! It was obvious to us from the start that Roy is successful because he genuinely wants to help people. He is approachable, very patient and ethical in his dealings. And at the same time, he is very driven, professional, hard working and clearly has a lot of experience in real estate. He advised us well through the process (when homes were over/ under priced and other things not obvious to inexperienced buyers). He is also super helpful - we are still reaching out to him for home related contacts and advice. Also a big shout out to his assistant Emily, who also works diligently behind the scenes. I'd say you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least meet with Roy before you pick your real estate agent!
