I wanted to escape the noise, heavy traffic and increasing population explosion of Palm Beach County, my home for 41 years. I made 3 trips to Sebring to meet Rona Port at the Berkshire Hathaway Realty office. I was so excited to find my retirement home, but on each trip the house and property were not exactly what I wanted or were already under contract the day before or day of my arrival. They were usually my favorite prospects, and were being sold before I even saw them. Rona was very patient and had listened carefully to my desired dream house. Finally she called me about a home that would be coming on the market in the next week. I drove over to check out the neighborhood and made an offer after seeing the interior photos and meeting the owner by appt. Rona was so determined we would find the right house, she never got upset if I didn’t like a house and was always positive. After purchasing my new home she has also helped me find local trades people, governmental agencies, etc. and called to check on my progress in adjusting and unpacking. I feel Rona is one of the most caring, capable and hardworking Realtors I have ever worked with, and would highly recommend her. She is an exceptional person and I was fortunate to have her as my Realtor and new friend.
