Working with Ron as my realtor made the experience enjoyable and the outcome better than expected. Not only does Ron know the market and the area, he knows how to gain an understanding of his client's needs. He actively pursues a positive outcome, and he communicates well. I would use Ron for all my real estate needs. I happily recommend him with top honors, and I am happy to have met him and gained a friend in the process.

He's amazing

He's amazing. You're treated with respect every step of the way no matter how much you can afford. We spent many months trying to buy a home with a limited budget. Ron never gave up and would e-mail us every house in our range the second it came out. Eventually, we did find our perfect house. We've been living happily ever after for the past two years.

Over the years, both buying and selling our homes, we have used seven or eight real estate agents (and interviewed many more). Ron Larson, of Coldwell Banker, is the best we have encountered. We highly recommend him. We had just moved to Santa Rosa, California, and were looking to buy a house. He found the right one for us.

He clearly knows the market well. Better yet, he quickly understood what we were looking for and did not waste our time "selling" us houses which really did not meet our requirements. (We have had experience with agents who have acted as both seller and buyer agents, but were unable to get out of what we consider a "seller's agent mindset" when they represented us as a buyer's agent.). He also clearly had good relationships with real estate agents working for other companies.

Before we buy a house, we have it thoroughly inspected. Ron recommended inspectors who turned out to be very thorough and very blunt in identifying issues with a home. Because we did not want to have to spend a lot of time fixing up a house, we ended up rejecting a house we had intended to buy, based on very well documented problems found by these inspectors. On the other hand, when these same inspectors found less significant issues with a home we did buy, it was possible to use the issues they identified to appropriately lower the final price of the home. Better yet, we are very comfortable that the house we bought is in good shape because we trust the inspection results.

Ron was very helpful during all the negotiations.

Ron has always been good humored, diligent, dependable, and quick to respond to our emails or phone calls. He is also very knowledgeable about all real estate contracts and helped us through some of the "tough" parts.

For all these reasons, we highly recommend Ron.

From the first time I met Ron I was struck by his expertise, local knowledge, and gentle manner, and his wonderful ability to not just listen carefully but to also remember and integrate my plans and vision with what he knew. He never pushed, barely nudging. In fact, one of my fondest memories was when we walked into the house he eventually helped me buy. The house was not his listing but his inside knowledge helped us take a look before it was to open the following weekend. We both looked around and through a very beautiful, pretty much turn-key home. Being the real estate research business myself, I know values and the market pretty well. After only ten minutes I told Ron I was good to go, asking, "What do I have to do?" He smiled and said, "Thank goodness," going on to explain that he respected the short time that we had known each other and that because of it he didn't feel it was proper for him to scream out BUY IT!! The home was a short sale and took over six months to close. Ron's expertise and experience helped throughout. He was continually updating me on the short sale process as it went along, reassuring me that things would be just fine. And he was right. Toward the final days of closing he drafted letters on my behalf concerning particulars about the residence, factors that were instrumental in getting nearly 10K in credits at closing - on a short sale! I have recommended Ron to my friends and will continue to do so. He is the first person that comes to mind when I think of excellent real estate agents. Thanks again, Ron

We just finished a transaction in which Ron Larson represented us as a buyer's agent in a tough short sale. His level of professionalism incredibly high. Honest...so very honest. He's not one of those deceptive types of agents who hides bad news from you so that they can make a commission and walk away. I've had my share of those types.

Also, this agent will respond to your emails within five minutes 95% of the time. Incredible. We were very pleased. I highly recommend this guy.
