Over the course of six months, Robert VanMeter would periodically review homes and remotely FaceTime us on personalized home showings. He is not a typical “pushy” realtor but rather a down-to-earth, approachable business man that is extremely knowledgeable about the housing market locally and nationally. We enjoyed our conversations with him and his willingness to consult with us until we settled on a home in the Leesburg area that met our lifestyle needs. Robert has gone above and beyond to meet with contractors, do odds and ends on our new purchase after settlement as we don’t live in the area. Robert did not want to sell us a house. More than that, he knew we were looking for a lifestyle different from the one we were leaving. The market for sellers was HOT and houses were being snatched up even before we could view the listings. He was available to talk to us by phone and never failed to return our calls to answer our questions.While other realtors were anxious to wedge us into deals to just make the sale. Robert listened and found exactly the house and the community that we like to call paradise. He guided us through the confusing paperwork process. He supported us from the beginning to the very end. Most importantly, he awaited at our front door to personally handed us the keys to our beautiful home.

I got scammed by Mario. Marco who was supposed to work under American Home Buyers. He said American Home Buyers had buyers that would least it and then we get financing and sell it for me. Then he sold it to Don crisp that live there over 2 years and I had to pay him $20,000 to get my house back. Robert was so nice to help me get out of that situation listed my property was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and he sold it for me thank God. He really knew what he was doing.

Bobby was awesome walked us through the entire process. Start to finish helping us find the perfect home that fit what we needed. Helped us with everything we needed and stayed on top of things. Always felt informed and updated and kept it very stress free. Would highly recommended!!!

When mom and I decided to move from Chicago to central Florida, quite honestly we had no idea where do start. Working with Robert was a wonderful experience. I told him what I had for a down payment and where I wanted be with my mortgage. He suggested that I up my price rage I was looking at. Cautiously I did... I did not want to get my hopes to high. Robert was not only able to get me the house I choose he negotiated me a great price. He also took care of all the other aspects like a mortgage broker, made sure I had the inspector and even an extra inspector to check the pool. He took the daunting task of buying my first house alone and made it fun and effortless. I will be recommending him to any of my friends and family looking to a home.

To tell you the truth, there are so many Realtors out there to choose from BUT Robert is exceptional. Robert was as real as it gets, he was honest, outspoken and worked my deal to perfection. Extremely knowledgeable, followed the market trends, he did his homework and went above and beyond for my family and I. Most realtors will do anything to close a deal, and I understand that completely. However when a realtor says, " This is the best they will counter and if you're not 100% comfortable, walk away...we will find you something that you are completely comfortable with." I ask you, WHO DOES THIS? He really does care about his clients wore than the quick buck. When people say, " I am here for you." it kind of puts you on your guard...it did me...BUT he did everything he said he would do and way more. After the closing he gave me some of his AWARD WINNING BBQ as he is a master BBQ'er. He was almost as good as his BBQ! hahaha....but I have to say...the ribs beat him out! haha....Anyhow, thank you Robert, you're a phenomenal realtor, thank you for everything and our new found friendship.
