After online searching some homes in Wesley Chaple, I had been connecting several agents for further discussion. Rob is one of the agents and the best realtor. During my new home search in Florida, I came across Robert and his knowledgeable and easy-going demeanor I knew that we would get to our goal of homeownership in Florida. We were in New York, so everything was long-distance via, phone calls, text messages, facetime calls, and email. Robert always kept us in the loop and in constant contact. We got into a contract with a builder who after months of being in contract and the builder just being unprofessional and many disappointments, and hardships of having to be displaced from a home when the builder gave us dates that they did not stand by and kept moving dates and kept us (both Robert & us) I limbo with no answers. We told Robert that we wanted to go elsewhere and go with another builder and Robert stood by us and fought hard for us and our buyers' rights even going to the superiors in the builder company to fight for us, they finally after much persuasion from Robert finally got our earnest money back. We found another home and with Rob's help we closed in 30 Days on time and below budget by $25 K . It was a long road but with Rob's help, he made it possible for us to relocate our family to our dream home in Florida. Thanks to him for standing by our side thru all the builder put both of us thru and always letting us know when and how to overcome the hurdles the builder set up. If I could give Rob more than 5 stars I would because he stood by us when other realtors would have just walked away. Rob gets the job done, he looks for solutions, he always puts his clients first and foremost, he is the type of realtor you want on your side because he puts 110% into getting his clients the best home for the best value and his attention to detail is impeccable. He is there to look out for your best interest and will point out when something (during all stages of the building) needs attention and will let both his client and the building manager know that it needs to be fixed or redone. Buying in Tampa in the hottest market in the country was terrifying and frustrating. We were moving from across the country (California) and had limited time to look at homes. I was hesitant to meet with “Tampa Rob” because every realtor has a hustle and none of them seemed to care about our family’s timeline or needs. We were pleasantly surprised when we met Rob and he took us to properties he curated for us. To say we are picky buyers is an understatement. Rob spent more time than anyone else would have showing us properties in all different areas. What distinguished him was that he actually LISTENED and HEARD what we wanted… others told us it wasn’t possible to meet our expectations in this market. Rob didn’t. He kept going. When I was tired and wanted to give up he gave us the encouragement to keep going and found the perfect property for us. By that point I was burned out and tired of being outbid. If it weren’t for Rob looking out for us I would have offered far more than what we paid for our home. Other realtors would have just calculated their commission. Rob didn’t. He saved us money because he knows this market and had our best interests in mind. Rob performed and earned our trust. He handled inspections and walk throughs, and followed up as we were traveling across the country to make sure we had our electric and other services on line. Rob had a solution for every issue. He introduced us to landscape architects and various contractors— if we need something, he’s “got a guy.” On a personal and professional level we got lucky meeting Rob o’Connor. He closed the deal and did the impossible in this market. Now that we are moved in, his customer service has not ended. I can call or text Rob about things in the area- especially since he’s the only person we know if this area! There are literally thousands of realtors here. We just finished renovated our entire house just before our son was born. Now, just 2 months pregnant with our second and we were ready to get a new home. We wanted to find a home in a neighborhood that was family friendly, close schools, and of course the in-laws. Meet Rob O’Connor, an absolute top tier Realtor. I spoke to many Realtors that were not giving us the time of day, but when I spoke to Rob everything changed. He spoke to me on the phone right away and just listened to what we wanted. He then said that he would make himself available that Saturday to meet at Connerton in Land O Lakes. We loved the neighborhood and the home. The home was slated to be finished in August, so we needed to get our house sold quickly. Rob listed our house $100,000 over what we thought it was worth according to Zillow. The house was under contract within 3 weeks above asking price! Rob has wonderful communication skills and kept us updated throughout the entire building process. The baby arrived early and the house was delayed a month, so we had additional stress. Rob really helped to ease our stress and keep things on track to close. We closed and moved into our new home. Rob was at closing of course, but then drove me to rent a U-haul truck for some smaller items that were not in storage. He completed some errands and showed back up with more help at our house to move us in. He came with the most spectacular picture cake of our family, a steamed for our floors, and a great attitude. Rob is not only our Realtor, but a family friend now. He is surely someone that you don’t want to lose his number. My wife was kinda sad that we didn’t have a sold sign in the front of the home from the builder because it was thrown away by some workers. Well, Mr. O’Connor had a “Welcome Home Irish Family” sign custom made for us for when we arrived after closing. A true professional. Rob found the very few and best comparable homes in order to list our property to have it contract in 3 weeks, and for OVER ASKING PRICE! Rob is a true real estate professional that will give you the leverage you need to sell or buy. He helped us find our DREAM home and assured us that he would get our home sold before our new home is built. Our ONLY problem was that Rob SOLD it too FAST, lol. Rob is one of those service professionals that you don't lose their contact information, and you refer everyone you know to him because he will GET IT DONE. Recently, I purchased a second home in the Tampa area. I entered the search process with a defined budget and property features required, but was quite uneducated of the various communities within the Tampa area. I met Robert O'Connor through a mutual acquaintance and am truly thankful for the recommendation. Robert took the time to get to know me, my needs, likes/dislikes, and leverage his knowledge of the area to quickly help me narrow in communities and homes that met my needs and interests. The combination of technology tools that Robert has available, in addition to the roster of great recommendations that Robert provided for loan processing, home inspection, and home improvements, greatly reduced the stress associated with the process, especially considering a very aggressive desire of the seller for a quick close (we went from offer acceptance to close in 27 days). We certainly encountered hardships along the way. HOA violations were assessed to the seller during the period between offer acceptance and close. Robert worked closely with the HOA and seller agent to ensure that the issues would be resolved. I would highly recommend using Robert for future home buying or selling needs.
