This past Friday, we closed on a house we love in Georgetown, TX. We had the best realtor, Bob Kenney, who helped us figure out exactly what we were looking for, and then helped us find it and close the deal. We are so grateful to Bob for his diligence and expertise. Because our process included flying in and out of Austin from Massachusetts on several long weekends, he had to be ready to show us a number of houses that would bring us closer to a decision we were happy with. In the end when we were not able to fly in again due to work, he visited several houses with my sister. Together, they showed us the houses using a FaceTime walk-through. By that time, Bob knew exactly what we were looking for and he could answer any questions, almost before we asked them. We ended up making an offer and he helped us negotiate all of the next steps from afar. We were so excited to see the house in person during the walk-through! It was even better than we had thought. The closing was smooth. No surprises. And, in fact, Bob had been such a good negotiator that we have had several home improvement professionals come by to take care of a few things that had been discovered during the inspections (the sellers had agreed to cover the costs).
