Bob came to our rescue. We had a previous agent that over priced the house and promised the world. After that listing expired, Bob was recommended to us. He did the research and gave us the real market value of our house. He did everything he said he would do and beyond. Bob had lots of open houses and individual showings, gave us help with staging and took great pictures. We received an offer quickly and closing went very smoothly. My girlfriend and I had decided that it was time to purchase our first house. However, I did not know anything about buying a house. My parents said that I should call their agent, Bob Katner. The 1st thing he said that we needed to do was to obtain a mortgage. He set up an appointment that he attended too with a mortgage representative who walked us through the whole mortgage process. We found out how much we could purchase, what the payment would be and how much money we would need. The next step was to tell Bob where we wanted to live, what we wanted in a house and how much we wanted to spend. He immediately put that information into a website which immediately sent us a list of houses to look at. Also, we we received an email every-time a new house came on the market So the next step was to go through the list and pick out houses that we would like to see. When we told Bob what we wanted to see he was very quick in getting us into those houses. He told us that he was going to teach us how to look a house. From arriving at the house until we left the house he showed us everything good or bad. After a few houses he expected us to tell him what was good or bad about the house. If we missed something he certainly would tell us. Once we got our offer accepted on the house he made us get an inspection which turned out to be another leaning experience. There were a few issues with the inspection but Bob was able to have the Seller take care of them. Based on our experiences with Bob I would whole heartily recommend him to be your real estate agent

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Bob on several properties and he was very thorough and explained the process and next steps so that there were no surprises. Compared to other agents I’ve worked with, Bob was head and shoulders above them when it came to his knowledge of the industry.

I was looking for an investment property that I could rent to 2 of my sons. Bob set it up so that when properties came on the market that matched my desires I would be notified. This house came up and I was little concerned about it because it was owned by a bank but the low price really interested me. I talked to Bob about my concerns and he encouraged me to look at it. I was kind of surprised than he would encourage me to look at it because I knew that he would be paid less for his services because his income was based on a percentage of the sale price. In the case of this house it had a "wood" basement which is highly unusual and he knew the pros & cons of a "wood" basement. He made me get an inspection of the house which included a radon test, well test & a septic field test. The inspection took about 4 hours and I was given a written report for my review. From the beginning of the buying process to the end of the buying process Bob was very thorough, knowledgeable & professional and I would highly recommend him

I feel like we saw 100 houses and took a year to find our house, but Bob was patient until we found the perfect one. We put offers in on two other houses before finding this one and he was supportive when the first two fell through. This was the first house we ever bought, so he took the time to answer all of our questions in full detail. Not only that, but the first two houses were 25 minutes east of the house we closed on. This was because a job change moved us further west, so because of that, Bob had to look in two 80 square mile areas that didn't overlap at all. I wouldn't shop for a house with anyone besides Bob.

Before we even got the inspection, he was knowledgeable about how much we might need to budget to replace old items or add equipment like water filters. Bob still kept communication with us far after the purchase to make sure everything was going well or if there was anything else he could do to help.
