I began my search for a Florida property in 2020. I was fortunate enough to meet Bob Bevington, who worked with me for many months to find the property that I eventually purchased in Sarasota. I was relocating from NJ to FL, so the process was difficult. We bid on several houses over the many months and Bob took the time to go to each one, preview them, and narrate his opinion over the phone. He guided me to the properties that he felt were a correct fit for me based on our numerous conversations over many months. When we were finally successful on securing the property in November 2021, Bob did a thorough inspection of the house and identified several defects that required repair or replacement. He negotiated with the sellers to complete the repairs as part of the purchase price. Bob recommended a mortgage company that financed the purchase, and he was in contact with the broker through the process whenever an issue arose. When a problem developed that caused a delay in settlement, Bob fought hard to extend my settlement for a month. When it was time to travel to FL, he arranged an apartment for my family for two days to allow for the shipment of our furniture. On the day of settlement, there was a terrible rain storm, but Bob personally picked me up and sat with me through the closing. These few sentences only scratch the surface of the many months of Bob’s hard work to help relocate my family. In addition, Bonnie Bevington helped us navigate many issues, and was always there to help. Bob is a rare person – he is a consummate professional skilled in his work, with an engaging personality. I found a good friend through a very stressful and time-consuming process. I enthusiastically recommend Bob Bevington without reservation.

I worked with Bob to find a condo on the Gulf Coast Keys that the family could use and that could also be rented out during season. He did and excellent job of presenting opportunities to me in a very tight market. Bob went through the pros and cons of each property, helping me to understand what features were important and which ones were niceties. It took a few months but we settled on a beach front condo on Siesta. Bob was on top of all of the details and the transaction went super smooth.
