Robert is a very experienced realtor. His primary area is Lexington. After he helped us buy a house in Lexington, he agreed to help us sell our old house in Chelmsford. We bought in early June. Knowing the real estate annual cycle, he encouraged us get our home ready by early July to catch the tail end of this season. He did a walk through of our house and identified many areas that we needed to touch up to make the house more appealing and also told us how to use our current furniture to stage the house. He also met with us multiple times (mostly virtually) to help us get the house ready. He researched the recent sales in the area to help us set the listing price. After the house went on the market, he held open houses every weekend until we got an offer. The offer was an under-bid, so he helped us negotiate a price that was acceptable to us. Our buyer encountered some issues with their loan. Robert advised us to give them more time and stick with the deal. After some time, it all worked out as he predicted.
