I began working with Rimma in November 2021 when my partner and I decided we wanted to move from our one-bedroom apartment to a two-bedroom apartment with a terrace. Rimma listened to our requirement and diligently reviewed properties on the market to find what we were looking for. She was very attentive, and she was always available, day or night. If she was unable to answer the phone when I called, I never had to wait very long for her to call back. I have owned property in Illinois, Massachusetts in New York. Never before have I had as much difficulty buying a home. Over the course of the year we made offers for two other properties before we made the offer for the co-op we finally bought. During this time I learned that some board members are more interested in maximizing their investment in their own apartments than in facilitating the sale of co-ops to qualified buyers who would make good neighbors. Their financial requirements are absurd and their application processes are labyrinthian. The application for one co-op ultimately came to more than 500 pages. Rimma was equally attentive and responsive when I sold my previous apartment. She posted the apartment on real estate websites and scheduled regular open houses. She was as helpful to the buyer as she was to me, the seller. Through it all Rimma was steadfast, positive and encouraging. I depended heavily on her knowledge of the market and the buying and selling process. Whenever I asked, she also was ready to recommend mortgage brokers, lawyers, movers and other professionals. I appreciate her honesty and I value her opinion. I was comforted by knowing that I was working with someone I could trust. As arduous as the process was, I believe it would have been much more difficult without her.
