When we started to make inquiries about hiring...
When we started to make inquiries about hiring a realtor, we got a load of calls. One of the realtors that made contact with us was from Remax. His name is Mxxxx Cxxxx. He tried to get our listing harder than anyone I have ever encountered. He told us that our house was worth about $50,000.00 less than it actually was worth. Naturally we checked out several different realtors. When we met with Rick Rapp from Travers Miran Realty he told us that we would be out of our minds if we listened to Mxxxx Cxxxxx and convinced us to give him 2 weeks to sell our house.
We figured that two weeks was not a lot of time & we could get out of his contract anytime if he did not deliver. We listed the house for $519,000.00. Almost $50,000 MORE than Mxxxx Cxxxx told us to list the house for. When Mxxxx Cxxxxx called us & we told him that we listed the house with Rick Rapp, he turned into a very unprofessional man. He told us that we would be waisting our time & Rick was a very poor salesman. Mxxxx also told us we were very overpriced.
As it turned out Rick sold our house for almost the full price within the 1st week it hit the market. He helped us stage the house and showed the house himself for each showing. He gave us a full page presentation in a Parkland magazine & was always available for questions & feedback after each showing. He was in short the best realtor we have ever dealt with. If you know anyone who is looking to sell their home, we would recommend Rick Rapp without any reservations. I am attaching his card & some literature for you all to look at. I will miss you all and wish you a great summer.
Sincerely,
Susie & Howie Bernstein
