Previously licensed in Pennsylvania, I am excited to continue my career in real estate in New Mexico. I earned a BS degree in Chemistry and worked in the environmental field measuring everything from industrial stack emissions to trace air pollutants, including sampling and analysis for mold and radon. To digress, I once spent a few days testing for particulate pollution on a catwalk 120 feet above ground level. I not only had to climb this distance, but also had to hoist hundreds of pounds of sampling equipment. This cured any last vestiges of my fear of heights. Next, I worked in the field of toxicology where I was instrumental in teaching and setting up breath alcohol instrument classes for law enforcement officers throughout the state of New Mexico. I also provided excellent customer service to New Mexico’s many police agencies and their officers. I was also an active investor in real estate where I owned and managed multiple residential properties for over 20 years. Of all my education, this was most practical – I learned home improvement, proper maintenance, and dealing with all types of contractors. Continuing my education, I earned an MBA degree at Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Finance. My wife, Donna, and I moved to Albuquerque over ten years ago where we purchased a new home already under construction. More recently, we contracted to build a custom home in which we were able to shop for and choose all our fixtures, appliances, and styles of construction. It took the better part of a year where we were able to see all the phases of construction from the foundation up. It was a great learning experience and our chosen builder helped us with a wonderful support staff and excellent sub-contractors. Sold townhouse in one weekend and sold it quickly again after first buyer failed.

Richard was able to sell my townhouse after one weekend in November, and when the sale fell through due to a lender issue, he had the home staged and a new offer in within days! I also must mention how attentive he is to details and great to work with!

I couldn't have asked for a better realtor. Richard handled everything with great expertise.

I couldn't have asked for a better realtor. He was willing to meet up at moment's notice, and always promptly responded to my texts and emails. Whenever there was a hiccup in the process, Richard handled everything with great expertise. For example, when the appraisal came in low, he made some suggestions that helped us negotiate a price that was very favorable for us. Throughout the process, I could tell that Richard was really on our side. He pointed out common mistakes that buyers make and made sure we didn't make the same mistakes. I would recommend Richard to anyone buying a house.

My husband and I were ready to relocate, wanting to sell our home in Los Lunas and purchase a home in Albuquerque. Richard sold our home in 2 months, being very diligent with marketing and an open house. His attention to detail is impeccable; it was reassuring to know we were in good hands. He was very easy to communicate with, whether it was by email, text or phone, and usually returned our calls within an hour. When we came across a home we really wanted to buy Richard was out of town, but this didn't stop him from helping us make an offer the same day. Thanks to Richard we have made it through what could be considered a very stressful transition, and within 4 months from the time of listing our home we are now in our new home and couldn't be happier!
