I don’t have enough superlatives to describe my experience with Richard Eberhard! I signed the contract on July 28, 2023 to sell my condo. The very next morning I had a serious leak in my ceiling coming from a broken water heater two floors above me. But Richard didn’t even consider backing out of the contract. He guided me and helped me figure out what to do to get my condo ready to be listed on the MLS as soon as possible. With Richard’s guidance and the work done by my contractor to repair and paint the ceilings in two rooms and also to relay the carpet, replace the baseboards , as needed, and make sure the walls had no signs of water damage, the condo was under contract shortly after listed on the MLS and I closed on October 5, 2023. I was amazed how Richard just offered to do whatever needed to be done while showing great empathy and understanding for my pessimism at the time. And the day I signed the closing documents Richard again took me under his wings and picked me up and drove me to the Title Agency. As I told Richard through my home sales experience I truly believe that he was an Angel put in my life by God because I needed him and he would get me through this overwhelming experience of selling a condominium in Ft Lauderdale Florida!!

In April, my almost-88-year-old mother had decided it was time to put her home in Deerfield Beach on the market and move closer to her children up north. I had recommended she work with Richard and she gratefully turned over the reigns to Richard and me. Richard literally hit the ground running, listing her home at a very attractive number based on recent comps and explaining what needed to be done immediately to get my mom's home ready for showing. Along the way there were hiccups, both small and large, e.g., the central AC stopped working and had to be replaced. Richard helped me coordinate the job with a reliable HVAC contractor who installed the new system just in time for the official Open House. Because Richard had gone above and beyond we had 5 viable offers within 24 hours of the Open House. Richard kept my mother and me in the loop at all times and always responded to our texts promptly. The closing could not have gone more smoothly. I trusted Richard's advice every step of the way. If you are planning to sell or are looking to buy, you will not find a more professional, well-informed real estate agent than Richard.

Hard working, communicative & very prompt

Richard is AMAZING! My husband and I were "introduced" to Richard in the Fall of '21. I use quotes there because I personally didn't meet Richard until just a few weeks ago after we were under contract on our beautiful home. We were living in Ohio and my husband was offered a job in Boca. We jumped at the chance to move, but it took some time to get our affairs in order in Ohio. Richard connected us with an equally amazing LO and worked closely with him to make sure things were in order. We got our approval, but it was an FHA approval (our credit was great, but a past mortgage with an ex killed it for us). Not ideal. Never fear, Richard was here! Where most agents would have pushed us aside to work with more desirable conventional loan clients, Richard dug in. When our home in Ohio had closed, it was time to get to work. Richard sent listings and kept in close contact with me in Ohio while meeting with my husband and showing him properties here in Florida on his days off. He heard me cry and yell and scream and want to give up. He hung with us even though I thought for sure we would be fired as clients. When I found the home that would become ours, Richard and my husband happened to be out looking at properties. I sent it to my husband who showed it to Richard and within an hour they were at the house touring. The listing agent was there and while my husband was looking around, he chatted with the listing agent. I mention this because that chat, his kindness and personality, are what we were told got us the house. This market is cutthroat. However, because of his kindness and personality, we got the house we wanted. I will forever be thankful to Richard for helping us through the most difficult move my husband and I have ever made. His calm demeanor and INCREDIBLE knowledge of the South Florida market are unmatched. Stop reading this review and call him right now. You won't regret it.

I live in California, so I relied on Richard expertise to find us a home according to our needs. He did not fail. He’s knowledgeable, he’s courteous, returns calls, trouble shoots, goes above and beyond for his clients. Me being on Pacific time and him being on Eastern Time, was never an issue for Richard. He’d return calls even at 9:00 pm or later his time.

I relocated to south Florida and wanted my parents close by, I had absolutely zero knowledge of the neighborhoods or the areas that were most suitable to live in.
