I would like to start by saying that we had not sold a home in 24 years
I would like to start by saying that we had not sold a home in 24 years. How do we find the right agent for us! Bingo, we receive a card in the mail from Ramona with regard to a recent sale in our neighborhood. We called Ramona and set up an appointment with her. At that appointment, even though we were not ready to put our house on the market, Ramona sat with us and explained the entire process with us which included pricing, previous sales, open houses, showings and tips on staging. When we were ready to sell, we called Ramona again. Ramona went over the process again and then we had an open discussion about pricing. Ramona respected our opinion that our home did not reflect recent sales and we agreed on a starting-point price. Next step was to hire someone to take pictures. The pictures came out so well that we almost didn’t want to sell. Next step...two open houses. Ramona did so well with the open houses, we had at least one showing every day, sometimes two! Showings took place during COVID-19 and Ramona made sure anyone who came into our home used hand sanitizer and wore a mask and booties. Within a matter of two months, our house was placed on the market, we received many offers, we accepted an offer and we closed. With Ramona’s experience, every decision with regard to the sale of our home was left up to us! At this point, I would also like to say kudos to Ramona’s team, namely, Lorraine Lara, who assisted Ramona at showings, etc. Honestly, the entire process could not have gone any smoother!
