When my wife and I decided to enter the housing market, as with many others, we underestimated how difficult the process would be. As first time home sellers, there was much we did not know on how to to sell our current house and purchase our next home; and to add, we had to deal with nuances of a VA loan. We also have a 1 year old with a very sensitive sleep schedule. Despite it all, we were able to get our house under contract within 36 hours of going on market. After that we spent about a month looking at 4-5 houses each weekend; with multiple offers turned down in this crazy market.
