Couldn't be happier. Here's why.
The Denver real estate market has been overwhelmed with wanna-bes and rookies. When it comes to getting your house ready to sell, if that's what you can afford, have at it. As a disabled vet, my house was my retirement nut. I got inundated with pushy emails and letters. I chose to go the personal referral route, and that's how I found Phoebe. Phoebe and her team made this deeply challenging process a lot easier. Not only did she help me stage and sell my home, but she did the same thing for my new neighbors. She and her partner took over all the salient details and were quick to help me sort out what to do when my house sale lagged a bit compared to other homes in the market. Her team took care of the minor repairs and prettying-up of the house, which was older, helping put it in the best possible showing light. That included fluffing up my landscaping, and making it curb-friendly. I ended up with 98% of my sale price, which was what I was hoping for. Phoebe also helped me find temporary storage, her team helped me pack to move, and with very few glitches, we were done. I am now living in my dream state of Oregon, in part because Phoebe also helped me make some solid financial decisions around a reverse mortgage, a good financial advisor and she worked with my Oregon agent. In other words, this was a soup-to-nuts holistic approach. I also paid what I thought was a very fair commission. If you prefer an agent team which will consider all the challenges you face, and people with very deep local experience, I can't recommend her more. She is very well versed in the market, the salient laws. That kind of deep experience prevents all kinds of problems later on. If your house is overpriced or doesn't sell, she will tell you why and how to fix it. In other words, if I lived in Denver, I'd definitely use Phoebe again. But because I used Phoebe to leave Denver, I can afford my dream home in my favorite state. That is what I call a success story.
