Peter Swant is a life long resident of the beautiful Walla Walla Valley. He grew up working with his family in their grocery store, Wade's Thriftway (Red Apple, Harvest Foods), Foxy Flowers, & Wade's Conoco, all found at the Big Y between Walla Walla and College Place (where Cost Less Carpets is currently found). Peter ran the family business as the President and CEO until its closure in 1996. He then sold insurance for Mutual of Omaha, and eventually found his way to real estate and has never looked back. Peter is the past president of the local Walla Walla Realtor's Association, was the Rookie of the Year as well as the Realtor of the Year, has been actively involved in the Walla Walla Association of Realtors Care and Share Food Drive for many years. This food drive is one of the main supporters of the Blue Mountain Action Council. Along with that, he has served on the board of BMAC. He was a Port of Walla Walla Commissioner for 6 years, he served on numerous Walla Walla School District committees including Bond and Levy campaigns. Peter is a member of the local Rotary club. Peter has 5 children and 3 grandchildren. They are the joy of his life. Peter and his wife, Anne, have been married for 30 years. They love to travel and enjoy time with friends and family. Peter and Anne are dog lovers and since their children are all adults and enjoying their lives, the dogs are absolutely a joy to Peter and Anne. Peter also enjoys entertaining and is the grill master of the household. Peter has had a successful real estate business for over 22 years. He is a master negotiator and sees real estate as a team sport. He works with all parties to make transactions as seamless and smooth as possible for his clients. He believes that everyone deserves the highest quality service and care as they go through home selling and purchasing processes. His record speaks for itself, as he has served 2 and 3 generations of families in buying homes.
