We asked Peter to be our buyer's agent after speaking with him about another property (where he was serving as seller's agent). Our initial conversation was very different from the dozens I'd had with other sellers' agents--Peter gave us both the good and the bad about the house. Unlike everyone else I'd spoken with, he provided lots of information about the house and then didn't pressure us for any decision or try to entice us to visit what was going to be the wrong house for us. After this positive experience, we asked him to be our buyer's agent. And am I ever glad! I don't think our home purchase would have gone through if not for Peter.<br/><br/>We set up times to view a number of houses in the area. Visiting real estate with Peter was a real learning experience--his background in construction was evident as he would answer questions about the houses with very detailed information. This then allowed us to come to our own conclusions and make our own decisions about which houses were good fits and which were not.<br/><br/>Once we found the house we wanted to buy, Peter helped us through the bargaining process with the seller's agent and we won a short bidding war. Unfortunately, the seller was dragging his feet about preparing the house for sale and the closing got dragged out past the time we needed to move in. Between our lender, our banker, our lawyer, and everyone else involved in the purchasing process, Peter was the only one who actually went to bat for us--he seemed to be everywhere: down at the town hall looking up permits, on the phone with the seller's agent arranging for them to remove their belongings, and delivering documents when time was of the essence. His dedication to his clients is quite above-and-beyond. Largely due to his hard work, the sale went through and we now own a beautiful home. I heartily recommend working with Peter Neslusan!
