Peter Janis

My wife and I moved to Greenwich 10 years ago. We were newlyweds at the time, looking for a starter home. My cousin recommended we use Peter to help us with our search. Peter spent a considerable amount of time listening to our wants and asking us questions before he started showing us homes. It was immediately evident to my wife and I that Peter genuinely cared about finding us the perfect house and neighborhood that we would be happy in. He knew Greenwich very well ( he grew up here ) and was therefore able to help us focus on a few areas Peter showed us a large number of listings over a number of months until we finally found the perfect house in Cos Cob. He also did a great job negotiating the sale during a time when the real estate market was very hot. One thing that I was especially appreciative of is that Peter was extremely patient with us. He was able to answer countless questions and was always able to get into the important details. It was clear to us that he was looking to establish a long term relationship and not just make a quick commission. Fast forward a decade later. My wife and I have three kids and we outgrew our starter home. Peter once again listened to our needs and helped us find the perfect pocket listing in Riverside during a time when we were looking but not finding any exciting homes on the MLS. We are fortunate to have Peter as our realtor and friend. I would highly recommend him to anyone buying, selling or looking to rent in the Greenwich market.
