We have used Peggy on the buy side twice now, first for our initial footprint in Brewster in 2011 and now for our forever home, also in Brewster. Peggy knows Brewster and the surrounding areas very well. Her having been a long time resident in the area, "she knows things". Like which properties deserve a premium and which do not, which lots are near beaches that are covered at high-tide, which roads are quiet (or not), etc. She also knows the market, knows the comps, knows all the players involved in the process (other agents, mortgage brokers, inspectors and more). She often knows the sellers, or their neighbors, well enough to gain some unique insight on the property. In short, she allows you to only spend time on the properties that are a good fit. She will also work as aggressively (be careful what you ask for), or patiently as your situation dictates. For our latest purchase, that forever home, she worked with us very patiently...until the right home hit the market at which time she kept ahead of everyone to get the offer accepted and deal closed. We are spinning up on the sell side with Peggy at the moment and I can already tell she will make this a smooth ride while getting the best deal.
