Her technique to maximize potential buyers was to only have the Open House for 2 1/2 days, half a day Sunday, Monday and all offers by the end of Tuesday. We were concerned for only that short of time, but we trusted her. On Wednesday she brought with her 16 offers to our table. We sat down with her and talked about each offer. We decided to accept the offer from a couple that was expecting their first baby so that they could enjoy our home like we did raising our 5 children! Not to mention their offer was $40,000 over our asking price! That wasn't our main reason because another family was willing to pay more($55,000).
